This portfolio was born from encounters with several fairground families, people accustomed to living on the move, following the rhythm of town squares, the seasons, and the lights of the festivities.
The photographs capture fragments of everyday life: quiet moments of waiting before opening, hands assembling and dismantling structures, games, smiles, fatigue, and shared moments away from the noise of the fair.
Rather than documenting the fairground itself, this work seeks to draw closer to the people who inhabit it every day, to their intimacy and to the sense of community that grows from travelling together.
Each image is an attempt to offer an authentic glimpse into a world often seen only in passing, yet rich in stories, connections, and memory.
